Addition / Restoration - Wellfleet,
MA
The original home was designed by well known Italian architect
Giovanni Pasanella and was featured in Architectural Record
Magazine shortly after being constructed in 1970. Joy Cuming,
A.I.A., of Architect Studio in Wellfleet was the lead architect
for the renovation of the existing structure and the construction
of the new addition. The addition was designed with the utmost
respect for the original structure. This luxurious modern home
now boasts a European kitchen with concrete countertops and
high-end stainless steel appliances, a stair tower with a steel
and maple stairway leading to a large blue rubber roof deck
overlooking Wellfleet harbor, cork flooring and sequentially
matched maple paneling in the kitchen, living and dining areas.

stairway was reconstructed using parts from an architectural
salvage yard in Wareham. A large addition, designed by Mr. Stephen
